The 2008-2009 alignment of WPIAL Class AA football included 39 teams
from Western Pennsylvania high schools. Class AA is the third division
in a four division structure, which also includes Quad A, Class
AAA and Class A, according to school enrollment figures. Division
alignments for other sports, such as basketball, gymnastics and
soccer, may include a different number of sports teams. High schools
included here were part of this particular WPIAL football division
in 2008-2009. |
