We're not sure if 'risky behavior'
is part of his new deal or not
Big Ben
Roethlisberger signed on with the Steelers for 8 years today. One of
the first questions he was asked during the Steeler's press
conference was whether or not his contract allowed him to ride a
motorcycle. Probably more specifically, fast sport bikes, without
him wearing a top-quality full-coverage helmet.
It's a worn-out topic that Big Ben would like to rest, the
motorcycle wreck that nearly cost him his life and the Steeler
Nation their Super Bowl quarterback. How selfish we are with
our sports heroes here in Pittsburgh.

It's definitely getting more difficult to mix the passion of your life
with professional sports. There's more accountability these days,
while at
the same time many professional athletes seem less accountable.
We may never hear of the specific contract
legalese regarding Big Ben's future 2-wheeled fun, or lack thereof.
But it's easy to imagine there might be more clauses in there
relating to other risky behaviors, like unprotected sex. That is, IF sex is even permitted!
